1. Ian Frazer: Born in Scotland in 1953, Ian Frazer is a Scottish-born Australian scientist and medical researcher. He is known for co-developing the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, which helps prevent cervical cancer. Frazer was raised on Bribie Island and attended Bribie Island State High School.

2. Roy Emerson: An Australian former professional tennis player, Roy Emerson was born on November 3, 1936, in Blackbutt, Queensland, which is near Bribie Island. He achieved significant success during his career, winning a total of 12 Grand Slam singles titles and 16 Grand Slam doubles titles.

3. Darren Lockyer: Born on March 24, 1977, in Brisbane, Queensland, Darren Lockyer is a former professional rugby league footballer who grew up on Bribie Island. Lockyer is considered one of the greatest players in the history of the sport and enjoyed an illustrious career, representing Australia and Queensland in numerous matches.
